I believe that we should spend more time outside. I believe that because kids are becoming obese these days and it is because they’re staying inside all day watching movies and not playing outside. The human body needs at least 60 minutes of exercise every day; most kids don’t even get one minute of exercise. This is a growing issue and needs to be solved. At a very young age, I loved to go outside and play, and I still do. There are so many more things you can do outside than inside. At the age of eight is really when I started to go outside a lot more. A motivating factor was that we moved homes. However, this house is in the woods with no neighbors on our street and just acres of fun woods around it. In the summer my brother Owen and I …show more content…
About 5 years ago we got two, very old snowmobiles. About a half a mile away from my house there is a big field where we would ride the snowmobiles. One time while my brother and I were back in the field and a snowmobile got stuck. Most of the time when a snowmobile got stuck, it was close to home and not too difficult to get out. However, this one was really stuck, a half a mile away from home. After a good thirty minutes of trying to get the snowmobile un-stuck, we decide to take a break, keeping it out there until the next day. The next day we went back and after another 30 minutes of moving it, shoveling snow, and falling over we finally got it! Most kids don’t have snowmobiles but the fact of the matter is being outside, having fun and laughing. One of my favorite things to do with the snowmobile it pull people behind it with a sled. Friends and family would always come …show more content…
Next to my house is Paint Creek Country Club. On one of the holes is a very big pond that has a lot of big bass in it. Monday is the day that the course is closed, and the day we fish. On this pond lives a lady that we refer to her as “The crazy lady,” this woman is not a friendly person. On a cloud, Monday afternoon, Austin, Nick, Owen, and I ventured out to go fishing. Thirty minutes go by and we have only caught one fish. From a distance we hear “Hey, you have to leave!” The crazy lady was yelling at us. We all ignored her, hoping she would go away. “Hey! Hey!” She is getting louder and louder, but we keep ignoring her. After five minutes of her yelling and us fishing she comes out of her house walking towards us. “Oh no!” In fear says Nick! We quickly gather our things and run to the golf cart getting out of there as quick as we can. These are the memories people remember forever, not the amazing kill they got playing video
Snowmobiling in today’s world is far more exciting and dangerous than it used to be in the 20th century. There are many types of snowmobiles and different capabilities for every make, model, and year. Every single snowmobile is different in its own way. Many snowmobiles have evolved and developed into amazing machines that are a great source of entertainment.
If people never have a need to go out, they never will. Bradbury wrote another short story, “The Pedestrian”, in the perspective of a man who dares to go out when everyone else is inside. “In ten years of walking by night or day, for thousands of miles, he had never met another person walking, not once in all that time”(“The Pedestrian”). New, advanced electronics may give people everything they need, keeping them inside and taking away any time outside. Not only can never going out hurt people emotionally, but physically also. “The physical act of going outside can do an awful lot to improve your health and wellness in numerous ways”(healthguidance.org). Staying inside all the time causes a lack of vitamins and minerals needed and lessens exercise which can cause a body to degenerate faster, overall causing an early death. If people never need to go outside they will not and they may become very unhealthy, and advances in technology may cause this to happen

the ICPA also stats that The outdoors is the best place for children to burn calories, practice emerging physical skills and experience the pure joy of movement. Research has even shown that children who are physically active in school are more likely to be physically active at home, and children who don’t have the opportunity to be active during the school day don’t usually compensate during after-school hours. This will also help the students to feel more energized because the more your body works the more energy you will produce meaning students won't be so tired. Now that I was by myself out in the shallow woods of the back of my yard, I became nervous again that it was going to come and get me when I wasn't looking. All of the sudden when I was walking out of a small tree line, coming among a small frozen creek, I stopped and looked around for a moment. When it appeared that there was nothing there, I turned around, only to see the snowman standing there looking down at me. When we had built him though, he had barely been my little brothers height. But now he was easily
Also, many children suffer from obesity, and being outdoors is the best way to burn those calories. Since 1980, the childhood obesity rates from ages two to nineteen have tripled — with the rates of obese six to eleven-year-olds more than doubling (from seven percent to seventeen and a half percent) and rates of obese teens from ages twelve to nineteen quadrupling from five percent to twenty percent. (NHANES, 2011-2014 data) Children need to be more active, and by reducing recess this is not assisting the obesity epidemic. Physical activity simply feeds the
The day is all fun and games until the house becomes a mess, much to the joy of the children’s pet fish. Luckily, the cat returns to help clean up the mess he has made. The cat is a provider of fun to the household, presenting to the children all the amusing things they can do despite the rain outside. Portraying the Tybalt to the Cat’s Benvolio, the fish acts as the buzzkill who constantly

Time outside is super important to our lives. It helps us connect with the planet learn about it. But it also helps us connect and learn about each other. I go outside almost everyday and never realize how great it is. It gives us learning activities, we can exercise and even relax with the aid of the outdoors.
Healthy children mean a healthy nation. By spending most of the day outside in parks and forests, children can be transformed into a healthy boon for the nation. "You have to know that all hours spent at the computer are bad
I was trapped and I had no idea on how to get out of the situation. I was stuck and the 4 snowmen knew that I was scared and that I couldn't escape unless I ran up,the stairs and jumped grass and ran to my grandmas house!! learning. For example, in secondary school, students are required to finish the “Other Learning Experiences” programs. It aims to expand students’ learning contexts instead of simply learning in the classroom. While some school hold more outdoor activities as they agree that outdoor activities is beneficial for students, others reject it and continue to use the traditional classroom teaching. This essay examines both sides of for and against arguments of having more outdoor learning activities.
