I remember parking my car on the side of Ocean Drive, admiring the view in front of me. Mentally, I was preparing myself for the journey that was to come from my first time at a beach in Miami. Walking towards the beach, I watched beautiful people having the time of their lives. There were locals jogging and enjoying the sun, while tourists were sight seeing, admiring their surroundings. The warmth on my feet as I walked through the sand brought forth feelings of excitement, knowing that my day would be very satisfying. As my dad and I approach the beach, we stopped to get a view of where we wanted to sit and I was deeply humbled from taking in the view ahead. Surrounded by noise from people enjoying themselves, I found myself getting lost in the tune of nature. I heard a roar coming from the ocean as each wave crashed ashore. Everything I could view in front of me was radiantly glowing. All the colors were vibrant and the ocean was deep, crisp, and bright blue. The moment I snapped back to reality, I started smelling cigar smoke being emitted from an old man who was delighted from all the beautiful women walking past. Everyone there was filled with love, happiness and serenity from the power of positive energy.
I could feel myself floating around from reality to the place my mind takes me. Drifting away from this plane, I graciously felt alone on the beach. As it was just the water and I in my mind, I became one with nature and I had never felt so whole. I caught myself staring into the horizon, admiring the work of the creator of all things. Each second that passed, I received constant reminders of how beautiful life is. Everything was bright and with my chakras aligned, I became captured in that moment.
