- For cafeteria procedures, the student start from the playground. They would line up and go back inside the building around 10 minutes early to get their hands wash. We would take them to the rest room, and have boys and girls make two lines and start to wash their hands and use the rest room if needed. Once done, one student will carried a big basket that held the lunch boxes that they dropped in before the morning start. Inside the basket are also their I.D. for students who eat school lunch. Once all the lunch box and I.D. passed out, we would walked them down to the cafeteria. In front of the cafeteria, another teacher would take over and her job is lunch duty. - The morning procedure is that there will be a teacher standing where the parent drop off by car and another teacher stand by the entrance where the bus dropped the student off. They would remind the student to walk to the gym or the cafeteria depend on the grade level. Then the morning bell would ring at 7:50 where the student would then walk to their classroom.
- The bus procedure is that when the bus drop the student off, they have to go directly to the gym or the cafeteria. There are some student who allow to go see their teacher if their teacher give them permission to be in the classroom before the morning bell for whatever reason it might be.
- For the carline procedure, the parent would have to drive around the school building (stay on the right lane, the left lane is for driving only. Parents are not allow to drop the student off using the left lane for safety reason). There will be an entrance where a teacher would stands by seeing the student being drop off from the car and walk into the building. The student will line up and the teacher would walk the student out. There will be three places the student can possibly split up. Carline entrance, bus entrance, or go to the atrium where a van will pick up the student for afterschool care program runs by the district. Each teacher have a place to monitor. Three teachers in the carline, one for the afterschool care, and two teacher for the bus. Carline teacher would have the student sit in the hallway. One teacher would be outside by the door and whenever a car drives up, they will hold out a sign that has the child’s name and their teacher’s name. That teacher will then call out the student’s name so the teachers inside the building can escort the student out to their car. This way, it prevent student from running around and getting lost or get hit by a car during pickup. For the bus dismissal, the teacher who is assigned for that duty will be assigned a bus. She would have to stand by the bus and escort the student on the bus safely. For afterschool teacher, she would stay with the student in the atrium and wait with them until the afterschool van arrive to pick the student
