1. My teaching subject area and anticipated grade level: Physical Education in a High School setting.
2a. How are students to signal that they want my attention and help? In a physical education setting, this could sometimes be tough. However, considering my head will always be up, a simple gesture such as having the students put both hands in the air would let me know that they need me. Since students will be moving around, running to me for assistance would make things more chaotic.
2b. How will I call on students during question and discussion sessions? In a physical education setting, I might have questions and answer discussions at the beginning of class. This will happen when the students are sitting in their assigned positions …show more content…

What are my procedures during class interruptions? I will have certain whistle blows so that the students know what to do. If I blow the whistle once, they will know to stop and be quiet. Rule 4: No food, soft drinks, candy, gum, or cell phones.
Rule 5: Be a leader and give it your all!
4. Explanation of consequences for broken rules: Points will be deducted for broken rules. Remember all of these rules rely on student participation!
5. How many procedures, rules, or consequences may vary (if at all) according to the grade level taught, or according to any other criteria, such as in team teaching:
*Rule one might not apply as much to elementary students if they are not required to dress out.
*Rule five might need to be reworded for elementary grade levels.
*Late homework procedures might be different for elementary.
*High school students would be able to be more responsible with getting dressed and out on the floor on time. However, I would still require a position on the floor for elementary students and they should know how to be quiet before the activities begin for the day.
*Interruptions might need a little more alteration for elementary students because they may not know what to do if I had to step out. I would make sure I didn’t step out. Ask whoever needed me if I could get back with them during my plan or my lunch
