Babies Born and unborn Bound for Heaven? Psa 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Psa 58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; Psa 58:5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely. Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This quote is from C.H. Spurgeon: I believe there will be more in Heaven than in hell. If anyone asks me why I think so, I answer, because Christ, in everything, is to "have the pre-eminence," and I cannot conceive how He could have the pre-eminence if there are to be more in the dominions of Satan than in Paradise. Moreover, I have never read that there is to be in hell a great multitude, which no man could number. I rejoice to know that the souls of all infants, as soon as they die, speed their way to Paradise. Think what a multitude there is of them! Then there are already in Heaven unnumbered myriads of the spirits of just men made perfect—the redeemed of all nations, and kindred, and people, and tongues up till now; and there are better times coming, when the religion of Christ shall be universal; when— If Spurgeon be correct and all infants born, or unborn and up to the age of accountability as some teach go to Heaven at death, then there is much discrepancy to be accounted for in scripture including our text! Another quote: If Christ on His cross intended to save every man, then He intended to save those who were lost before He died. If the doctrine be true, that He died for all men, then He died for some who were in hell before He came into this world, for doubtless ... ... middle of paper ... ... that matures to manhood was he is to be before God put him into the womb! I know a baby when born is made to take his first breath AFTER he is delivered from his mothers womb! That first breath is his spirit that comes from God for the body to live and returns to God when he expires: Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. This tell me that the body before spirit is only a body and maybe, not sure, all these unborn babies being murdered are not living beings till that spirit enters them! My Conclusion: Spurgeon, you are wrong about babies for the wicked that go astray from the womb remain astray, never coming into the salvation of the Lord! There are no wicked babies as well as wicked men or angels that have access to Heaven until the Blood of Jesus redeems! Works Cited Ps. 58-5; Rom.5:8
