An athletic trainer/ physical therapist are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Prospective athletic trainers need a bachelor's degree at minimum, and they may also need a master's degree. There are 5 main skills that you need to have in this job. I think I will live pretty comfortable with this salary. The Entry hourly wage is $15.79. The Average hourly wage is $21..86. This job will be a major plus to help me with employment at any other job if I need another one. You will need a high school diploma. The College that I will be attending which is Kennesaw State University offers a sports medicine class. One advantage of being an athletic trainer is its great money, if you are a sports lover you get to be around athletics everyday & you get to meet new people/athletes. Athletic trainers work at least 12 hours a day. Some disadvantages however, are you have to attend school longer. You may have to work with uncooperative people & you have to know how to deal with stressful situations.In the United States, the process involved in becoming an athletic trainer is rigorous.Conducts an initial assessment of an athlete's injury or illness to provide emergency or continued care and to determine whether they should be referred to physicians for definitive diagnosis and treatment. A good this about being an athletic trainer is you get to travel with athletic teams to be available at sporting events. The working conditions aren't just helping the athletes it's more such as you would often handle loads up to 20 lbs., sometimes up to 50 lbs. You might do a lot of lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling. My experience with the senior project was great. I enjoyed helping my mentor Mrs. Hope Price. She is a very amazing mentor. We practiced a lot together we practiced taping people and we put cream on athletes. I was a little confused as to how to do it, because I never did it before but I knew that Mrs. Hope was right there to show me the right thing. Senior project was the biggest and hardest project I've done so far. Mrs. Stuckey was great help with the project as well. She helped me stay on task and in line with all my assignments I needed to turn in. Senior project really pushed me It was a lot to do but I did it. After 4 long years of high school this is it. This project is my golden ticket out of high school and i had a blast with it. Like the Coat of Arms was really fun the coloring and showing my creativity.
