Recommended: How do sports impact the academic success of a child

I believe that athletes are some of the greatest role-models on the planet. Athletes are some of the greatest role-models on the planet because they can show people that nothing is impossible because most athletes have insane stories and they can teach everyone something. And I am going to tell you why they are the best athletes.
In the article¨Athletes and Sports,¨states that athletes are some of the best role models on the planet. Because of their work ethic and way they live. They are some of the greatest role models because they put in work and show you that if you put in a lot of work you can be really good at something. For example if you look at Tom Brady when he was in the combine you could tell he is a horrible athlete. But he put in work and now he is considered the greatest of all time. He ran a 5.28 second 40 yard dash and he is one of the worst athletes of all time but he is considered the best quarterback of all time.
The athletes make the kids that are watching want to be active and move around. Most of the research I have done has talked about athletes and how they inspire kids to get out and move around. It makes the kids want to be the athlete and when you watch a good player play it can inspire you to do that. For example, when I was a kid I didn't want to play any …show more content…

He thinks that we should teach our kids less contact sports and that they should play soccer or golf. He thinks that playing contact sports at a young age can ruin their athletic life or permanently affect them. He brings up a lot of good points in this article but I think that he is wrong and I think that kids should be inspired by these athletes. It makes kids move around which can make you live longer because you are moving
