There are a substantial amount of things that are completely legal, but should be illegal and bring a punishment. One major example is, paparazzi. There are many ways in which being a paparazzo is wrong and should have punishment. Being paparazzi is an invasion of privacy, annoying, disrespectful and it can spread false information. Many things including, but not limited to paparazzi should be illegal.

Paparazzi are people who follow celebrities or important people and take candid photographs for publication. Following a person can be considered an invasion of privacy, or even stalking. Most paparazzi have no respect for celebrities. For example, when a celebrity asks for privacy, they refuse to leave them alone. At times they even bully the celebrities into doing what they want. This happened to Demi Lovato in June. She wanted to speak to her fans but the paparazzi were yelling horrible things so she couldn't. They show utter disrespect when they get in celebrities faces and yell and ask questions. Paparazzi are rude and disrespectful.

Getting information about a celebrity from an interview or a trusted website is one thing, false information spread by paparazzi is another. Paparazzi can get more money when they change the image of celebrities. For example, Andrew Mendelson states that when stars are not in character the paparazzi are all over them. Paparazzi also try to get the celebrities to state false things. Like when Taylor Swift was 18 and the paparazzi started rumors that she was pregnant. False information isn't allowed in the court of law, so why should it be allowed on media?

Many things are legal that shouldn't be; paparazzi are one of those things. Clearly paparazzi should be illegal and should have consequences. Taking photos without consent for money is dehumanizing.
