Speaking English in America America offers! Liberty, a new way of life, a fresh start, and the foremost opportunities! Our country gives us so much, so in turn we should give back! We must be able to work together to give back and in order to work together we must understand one another. Language is the aspect most focused on in this case…let’s communicate! These virtues give our nation its appeal to others. Eliminating these important virtues is not our goal here! Here we want to keep diversity, but also have a base so that we can all communicate with one another and make this country the best that it can be! Yet, of course in order to have a base language some must learn that language. Learning a new language can be a difficult challenge, it gets frustrating and tiring at times. And many fear forgetting their native language! But that will not happen it this case for our goal is to keep our diversity. The overall benefits it provides oversees the fears and challenges that come with learning a new language. As you learn a new language you slowly unlock the new opportunities and the ability to be heard and understood by others instead of just Because English was one of the first languages here in the United States, a large majority of the people here speak it, and a vast portion of the world speaks it, English should be our base language.
