Is College Worth It? A college education is a standard for most people, but now, anti-college people are claiming college isn’t worth it. College can help you get your dream job, which would make work not feel like the daily grind. If you don’t go to college, you could end up in poverty or general unhappiness. According to a PEW research report, millennials with a bachelor’s degree ages 25-32 had an almost 300% less unemployment rate than high school graduates of the same ages. A college education is essential to having a satisfied life, and is definitely worth it. Having a college degree in today’s world is very important because more companies and businesses are requiring that anyone they hire has at least a two-year college degree, which is also known as an Associate 's degree. High school graduates and other people who have had thoughts about going to college should do so because it is getting harder for just a high school graduate to get a job, this is a result of hiring companies and businesses don’t want anyone without a college degree. Having a college degree will open more opportunities for the future. By doing so they further their lives and create a future that they want.

Learning and engaging in everything is a skill everyone should have, so like he said we should go to college to be able to do that. Additionally, education shows people to develop more intellectual skill and become more responsible (Pew Social and Demographic Trends). Thus said, being educated and smart is something everyone can do and college helps with that. Likewise, college can encourage someone to be more educated and happier. Reaching the point of happier and more educated is worth the cost.
