There are scientific questions and non-scientific questions. Scientific questions can be answered by experimenting and factual reasoning while non-scientific questions such philosophical questions are harder to answer as we may never truly know the right answer.
Two scientific questions that have effectively been answered include “Are humans to blame for global warming” and “Can humans live forever?”
Are humans to blame for global warming?
The Earth's climate has changed all the time throughout history. Most of these climate changes are due to very small changes in the Earth’s orbit that have altered the levels of solar energy our planet receives. The current rate is significant because now we are sure that it is the result of human activity. Satellites have let scientists see our planet and its climate on a global scale. The lengthening of lifespans is due to rising standards of living, better education, healthier nutrition and more healthy lifestyles. Since the development of antibiotics and safer medical practices the rate of mortality in adults and children has dropped dramatically which in itself has lengthened the average lifespan of a human being. As we find better treatments and cures for diseases the more likely it is that our lifespans will get even longer. Despite this most scientists now agree that despite human lifespans going up we do have a maximum age which humans can’t live past as our bodies wouldn’t be able to take it and we would die of old age. Some scientists say that the maximum lifespan of a human is 125 years old while other scientists say that the maximum lifespan of a human is 115 years old. Even though the actual maximum age of a human is in dispute most scientists do agree however that humans cannot live
