Usually, when someone hears the word “apple” the first thing that pops up would be the Apple Company’s latest product; not the fruit. This is because Apple has become a huge impact towards today’s society and modern technology. Apple was first founded in 1976, since then they have advanced their way to being the most well-known company and brand. In September 2015, Apple has launched their new product, which is the iPhone 6s and commercialized their product during TV breaks. There were thousands of people worldwide waiting outside the Apple store just to purchase this product and pre-orders were even sold out. The product seemed to gain more attention from the consumers because in the commercial it introduced its new product by showing all
There were a lot of new and different features that were added and improved. The commercial is selling the product at the society’s point of everyday use in life, which relates to people in society. For example, society does not have to carry around credit cards anymore because they can now be stored in the new iPhones 6s, people can take selfies in the dark now with the new feature of selfie flash, society can ask Siri anything without even touching their phone, and can also record videos that can turn into movies because of the great quality. People can now also capture the moments and the movements in their photos, in order for it to be more memorable. The company is trying to tell the audience the new product they are selling is different and unique compared to the older versions of the product. The screens are built bigger and stronger, and the company keeps adding features and upgrade old features in order to improve the product
The iPhone 6s is a good target for Achievers because since it is expensive and a well-known brand, it shows that they are successful by being able to afford it and have the newest edition of the iPhone. The product also targets the Strivers because like stated before it is from a well-known brand so they would want it in order to fit in. Although it is expensive they make a contract with a phone company like Verizon or T-Mobile that can lower the price somewhat. Actualizers, Fulfillers, and the Believers are not specifically targeted, but can purchase the product for their interest and usage in order to keep up with today’s modern society. The iPhone 6s do not target the Strugglers because although the product can do so many new things, they will not be able to afford since it is too expensive. It also does not appeal to Experiencers because since they are socially active they will not be needing it too
