The Virgin Mary is celebrated and loved throughout the world. She is the image we all women and child look up to and pray. She was born without original sin and throughout her years she never sinned and that's why she considered the Mother of God. “Mary is what it looks like to believe that we already are who God says we are,” (Weber, Nadia Bolz.). St. Anne and Joachim were Mary’s parent and gave birth to one of the two children without Original Sin. Mary was left, as a fulfillment of a divine promise left, in a Temple at Jerusalem(“Saints Anne and Joachim.”). The angel Gabriel came down to Heaven and told Mary that, “you have found grace with God,” and “you shall conceive in your womb, and you shall bear a son,”(Catholic Public …show more content…

Weber, Nadia Bolz. “Virgin Mary Quotes (40 quotes).” (40 quotes),
He is likened to a mother in labor giving birth in the new creation. This is the truest expression of “maternal love” found in the Passion. Julian invokes a Marian theology through her depiction of Christ as mother. Mary is Jesus’ mother yet Christ gives birth to all as he enables the Kingdom of God to give birth in the world through the action of the church.
From birth, Jesus of Nazareth was known to be special, something the world had never seen. The legendary birth, his mother being the Virgin Mary, that night in the manger in Bethlehem presented the world with the man who would become known as the Messiah, the one who, according to Christianity, would rescue the world and offer it everlasting life. Jesus knew of his calling and his holy purpose on Earth. While Mary and her husband, Joseph, a carpenter, raised Jesus as a child, much is not known of the early life of Jesus through scripture, or accounted for through historical evidence. It is not...
That was the beginning of Our Blessed Mother at Fatima. She visited the children six times bringing them messages for the world. In all Her appearances at Fatima, Our Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and of performing acts of reparation and sacrifice.

Jesus Christ is worshiped around the world as being the savior of all mankind. His birth was a miracle because he was born from a virgin. Taken from the Holy Bible, in Matthew 1:18-25, it states that Mary (the virgin) was to marry Joseph, but before they were married, she found out she was pregnant with the Son of God. Joseph was a man of good morals and was ashamed when he heard of Mary being with child. He planned to divorce her in private so she wouldn't be disgraced. An angel from God came to Joseph in a dream and told him, "'Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.'" Joseph awakened and obeyed the angel of God, and He and Mary were married. "But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus."

Mary is a perfect influence for us here on earth, as well as Jesus and many other people in bible stories. In fact, there are many bad influences, yes, but if you get yourself with the right people, you may have nothing, but great
“The heretic Nestorius claimed that Mary was merely the mother of the ‘Christ’ or the ‘Christokos,’ but this view was deemed heretical at the Council of Ephesus in 431,” Horn said. “Mary was not the mother of a man who later became divine, but she was instead the mother of one of the persons of the Trinity.” The catechism states, “In fact, the One whom she conceived as man by the Holy Spirit, who truly became her Son according to the flesh, was none other than the Father’s eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity”
Jacopo del Sellaio’s Virgin, Child, and St. John is a characteristically iconographic tempera panel painting of Madonna, the Christ Child, and the infant St. John from the early renaissance, dating to the early 1480s. Sellaio was a Florentine painter under the apprenticeship of Sandro Botticelli, which reflects through his style and symbolism in the painting. In this work, he depicts a classically devotional scene filled with biblical symbolism. Sellaio’s Virgin, Child, and St. John expresses Mary’s loving role as Christ’s mother, the protective power and warmth of her maternal bond, and the significance of the birth of Christ.
Virgin Mary's story began when the angel Gabriel told her that she was going to be the mother of God and said to call him Jesus so she had the baby and she is an example of the perfect mother. Mary was the only one capable to raise Jesus and was chosen by God because she committed no sin and she is the most powerful woman in the universe to ever exist because of it, and as she received Jesus she still remained faithful her entire life. Mary is a huge model for moms because she´s patient kind and has no thoughts of being aggressive and she knows when and where to act and she still takes care of all of us with her love
St. Cecilia was believed to be born in 2nd century Rome. She was an only child in a wealthy Roman family, was well-educated, and had been a devout Christian from early in her childhood. Cecilia had vowed her virginity to God, but she was promised in marriage to a pagan man named Valerian. She wore sackcloth, fasted, and prayed to the saints and angels hoping to keep her promise to God. On their wedding night, Cecilia informed Valerian that an angel guarded her body and that Valerian must not disrespect her vow of virginity. Her prayers were answered, and Valerian was willing to take her as his wife without forcing her to break her vow. Her husband wanted to see the angel that guarded her, but Cecilia told him that he would need to be baptized in order to do so. Valerian went to be baptized by Pope Urban, and returned to Cecilia as a Christian. When he returned, he saw Cecilia praying in her bedroom. Next to her was an angel with flaming wings, and he was holding two crowns of rose and lilies. He crowned both and them, and then vanished.
