From prehistoric times to modern we have always been restrained by social classes. Whether we are divided by money, social position or occupation, it is human nature to group and judge others. Why do we do this, we have no reason, but to put ourselves in a higher position, but even this is an illusion, there is no reason why someone who has certain characteristics should be held at a higher lever or get more privileges or be regarded differently than others. Social classes have existed in even the most basic of civilizations, yet we have absolutely no rationale why, no evidence for our choice. The majority of ancient civilizations created their cities on the idea, that those with a certain attribute would be allowed more entitlements than those with a different characteristic. The majority, of ancient humans formed their governments allowing people with no qualifications to become a leader who could hold power of the entire civilization. We created kings for no In ancient China, kings ruled with the idea that the groups opinion was more important than the individuals, but it is the individual that makes up the group. The group did not represent the individuals, it represented that who had the highest social class. In a Chinese family women nor children’s opinions were expressed, the father was sole decision maker, others had no importance, because he held higher social class. In ancient China those whom possessed the majority of the land were nobles or kings, but they had no qualifications to be nobles or kings, some characteristic they held decided this for them, they didn’t necessarily have the traits of a leader, or were the most amiable people, they held the highest social class.
