Movies have been an expressive way to showcase history, society, and art for many years. There are many different important aspects that go into creating a movie. These elements work together to create an entertaining piece of work that can connect to an audience. An important element of movies that help shape the meaning of a film is the soundtrack. The soundtrack is a selection of recorded music that can be synchronized to the film. There are five main types of soundtrack recording which include Musical film, Film scores, Pop albums, videogame sounds, and albums with dialogue and music. Chiyo eventually gets separated from her sister and is alone. This movie shows the struggle Chiyo has to face while adapting to this lifestyle and the difficulties she faces too find real love. As she grows up Chiyo becomes one of the most popular geishas and enters a new lifestyle in society but this changes as World War II changes Japan and the geisha world.
The last movie that I think has an important sound score that effects the film is The Dark Knight. This film was created in 2008 and the soundtrack was composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard. In this project the music was created before the movie was shoot. The sounds for this movie was based off of a style that combines repetitive rhythms and melodies with a Western classical style, which has a lot of minimalistic sounds with electronic instrumentation. This sound score won a Grammy for Best Score Soundtrack.
The Dark Knight is a part of the Batman movie trilogy’s, based on the DC comics. In this film Batman teams up with the police to try to end the crime in the city of Gotham, who is being caused by the Joker and his followers. This film was on most critics top 10 lists, this was the most any movie has ever been on. It also the twenty third highest grossing film of all
