Fitness Analysis
My first exercise that I did was the 12 minute run. There was not a very big change in my results on this test, I only increased by 100m. In school we did a good amount of running and sports that you had to run while playing like soccer and speedball. Outside of school I didn't run very much. Except the sport I play they are very dependant on having a good endurance so when ever I go to practice I am working on my cardio which helps with running the 12 minute mile. I didn't have a very good attitude towards running. I don't really enjoy running so that probably related to my scores not increasing very much.
The second exercise we did is the 12 minute swim. From 9th to 10th grade I went up 2 walls. In school we swam once every other week and usually did some sort on long endurance swim which probably helped increase my scores. Out of school I rarely did anything to help my swimming scores because I don't really have a lot of time to go to a pool and swim. Also for swimming my attitude is not very good either. I don't like to swim for distance and so I probably was not motivated all that much.

This one increased by 3 and a 1/2 minutes from 9th to 10th grade. In school, honestly, we rarely ever did any core exercise so that didn't affect my scores all that much. However, outside of school my sport requires you to have a very strong core. During our practices we hold a plank starting at 30 seconds and then eventually working up to 5 minutes. Also, I was very confident and motivated to hold a plank for a long amount of time, which helped me hold it
Another weakness in the experimental design was that the reliability of the experiment was very low. As each test subject was only tested against each amount of prior exercise once, the impact of random errors is likely very large, which can be seen by the spread of the data on the graph. Although, this was attempted to be rectified by averaging the results of all four test subjects, it does not improve reliability too
The reason why is that exercising gets your blood pumping which brings more oxygen to your muscles. According to table #1, it can be seen that most of the numbers under the difference column are positive which means that these people’s squeezing rate increased when they exercised first. Based on graph #1, you can see that more people increased by the height of the bar. Both the table and the graph support that if a person exercises first , he/she will be able to squeeze a clothespin more times in a minute than a person who rests
Sport aerobics is a new exiting performance sport, and like any new sport, is seeking recognition and acceptance as a valuable and worthwhile competitive activity. It is said however, that Sport Aerobics will always struggle for popular support because of pre-existing stereotyped views of sport in Australian society. The purpose of this essay is to challenge stereotyped views of sport in Australian society in order to increase participation in Sport Aerobics. To do this a proposed strategy will be implemented at Nambour High School to challenge stereotyped views of sport and breakdown social barriers to the participation in Sport Aerobics. This strategy involves including Sport Aerobics as a compulsory activity in the junior school physical

Physical fitness is defined as being physically fit and healthy. The question that many physical educators are faced with today is; how do to get across the importance of these two factors? This is not always an easy thing to accomplish. When taking a look at the three major levels of school students go through (elementary, secondary and high school) the educator faces some sort of difficulty in teaching the five parts of fitness. This paper will give information concerning these factors and also a few ideas on how to teach these topics to students at various age groups.

Information When you think of a person who is physically fit you probably think of a sprinter, gymnast, weightlifter, football player, or basketball player. There is so much to physical fitness besides being one of those people. For decades, physiologist and fitness organizations have tried to come up with an answer and here it is. “Physical fitness- a measure of the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, resist hypokinetic disease (diseases from sedentary lifestyles), and to meet emergency situations .” Sometimes they add to the definition stating it is the ability to transmit genes to the next generation. Now, this is the short answer for what physical fitness it is much longer is and detailed

A school’s main priority is to have a student succeed in the classroom, and it is proven that physical education helps this. There has been many studies done to prove that this is true. For example, a study done by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education performed a study on if education correlates with maintaining good physical condition. The researchers tested many different physical traits such as aerobic capacity, body composition, flexibility and others. The results proved that there’s a direct relationship between physical fitness and improved academic achievement" (Studies Show That Physically Active Kids Perform Better Academically." SPARK PE. Since I am a Physical Education Paraprofessional, I am required to assess students and their physical abilities based on the “Virginia Wellness-Related Fitness Testing Program” yearly (“Physical Education,” 2012). In order for the students to do their best on these assessments, I must make sure that I prepare them accordingly. In order for me to do this, I provide practice on each portion of the test during warm-ups every time the students come to my class. I also conduct these tests twice a year and use the students’ best score so that they have a higher chance of

2016). On the other hand, this correlation is not significant and many studies prove that physical education enhances students’ academic achievement. Physical education and school sport develop students’ concentration, behaviour, academic performance and memory. Moreover, the more students participate in sport the more their academic performance increases (Improving School Sport and Physical Education in your School, 2009). For instance, the students’ math grades were significantly higher after a 10 minute and 20-minute exercise in contrast with the sedentary students (Ebbeck, 2016). As a result, “45 percent of Victorian teachers rated physical education as being ‘extremely’ or ‘very’ important in their schools” (Jenkinson & Benson, 2010). This is how physical education improves academic
Physical education provides a variation of motor skills aimed to enhance the physical, mental, social and emotional development. The obesity statistics of 2009 quantified that childhood obesity rates have more than tripled since 1980 and in addition to concerns regarding chronic diseases, overweight and obesity incidences have even led to poorer levels of academic achievement (Taras & Potts-Datema, 2005). Additionally, in order to teach students the importance of preventing these ailments, those who oppose the amount of time in physical education or want to cut it out altogether should reconsider. Instead, time in physical education should be as equal as core subjects are seen. Physical education can help children in the classroom as well. The physical educator can incorporate math or science in to their lessons. If they are jump roping, they can skip count...
