“Life is random and fucked up and arbitrary, until you find someone who can make sense of it all for you-if only temporarily” - Matthew Quick, the Silver Linings Playbook novel. This quote construes the movie’s argument by emulating the individual mental obstacles that the characters will face. Patrick “Pat” Solatano Jr., and Tiffany Maxwell, two residents of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both suffering from a variety of problems, such as their psychotic disorder, crummy relationship experience, dealing with personal emotions, and simply the act of dealing with, plus confronting their dilemmas. In the face of their support systems and misanthropist, these two mainly tolerate dysfunctional marriage problems also the effort to cope with everything they're experiencing. Silver Linings Playbook, directed by David O. Russell, illustrates how one corrupt person can nourish themselves or someone just like themselves no matter what their own circumstances are.

Pat Jr., a single-minded individual, who experiences disturbing marriage problems. Although Pat seemingly thinks that his marriage with Nikki is the best thing going for him that turns out to be an epic fail. After witnessing his wife cheating on him he nearly beats her lover to death. As a result, of this action, Pat was not sent to a prison but sent to a mental facility for eight months, and doctors diagnosed him with a bipolar disorder. His courageous attitude and dedication drives him to reconnect with Nikki after being released. Pat’s mother and father attempts to have Patrick just focus on getting better and controlling his mood swings, but his main focus is to get his wife back. There is no one that can stop Patrick from doing what he sets his mind on, not a friend or family ...

To conclude, Patrick and Tiffany go through extreme measures to get a shot at the Silver Linings. Pat is being impelled by everyone in his surroundings slowing him down to fix his relationship. Tiffany, on the other hand, is dealing with her marriage difficulties, but in the wrong fashion. Had they’ve been less selfish and stuck up; perhaps Pat and Tiffany could have come up with a solution for each other sooner to cope with their problems. Silver Linings Playbook, directed by David O. Russell, highlights the effectiveness of one troubled person to another. When you’re down bad and fucked up do not be afraid to reach out for help from someone else no matter how they differ from you, besides, blessings come without warning in any form or shape.
