Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac was about a man who thought he could not be loved because of his ginormous nose. Cyrano was in love with a women named Roxanne who he knew would never love him. So he helped the man Roxanne loved or so she thought she loved, talk to her because he loved her that much. With all Cyrano went through he came to have a happy ending. In the story Cyrano helped Christian with his relationship with Roxanne. Cyrano wrote letters to Roxanne pretending to be Christian which made her love him even more. When Roxanne decided to go visit Christian during a battle, Christian tells her that Cyrano has something to tell her, and Cyrano soon takes Christians place as he is the one talking to Roxanne and Christian is the one
