Recommended: Psychological effect in art

Artistic freedom is regularly based or exploited because most of the time people aren’t happy with that artwork. This is a very controversial topic for me because I’ve seen art pieces that have angered me and made me the question the artist or museum who allowed it to be viewed in their exhibit. This Art history class made me look back and take back those thoughts because I learned that art is just another form of expression. I believe many artists try to push the limit of their art just to have their next big piece of controversial work. I understand as to why people may be upset about the artwork Open Casket by Dana Schutz, but I believe she felt pain when she heard of the story of Emmet Till and felt the need to share the story in her own
