Alzheimer's: A Blessing Analysis

My grandma was the most tremendous blessing I could ever had since she loved and cared for me. She only had somewhat of an education, yet she knew much more than anyone could, such as understanding business; walking on foot to the mountains; deluded government employees so they would cease pestering her. But, sadly in 2007 she was pronounced to have Alzheimer’s which was appalling for my family. She clashed with the disease until April 5, 2015 where she had succumbed to Alzheimer's and departed from her 8 children, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren. I believe that her Alzheimer's was a “blessing in disguise” since I heard many stories about her that make me want to live up to her legacy as much as possible. My grandmother having Alzheimer's directed me to be more tolerant of a frustrated people don’t know what they are doing. Stories that my mother tells me about my grandmother show how smart she was. When she lived in Iraq she had a farm and started to auction some of what she grew to neighbors so she could attain money. Especially when the town was low on a certain vegetable she would be selling them to people if she any surplus of it. What they attempted to execute was a threat to my grandma to bring back her sons so they would assassinate for leaving. My grandma had replied “What are you talking about? You have my sons! where are my sons I want them!” startled the government employees soon abandoned their mission due to fear my grandma was on to something the government had done. Her acute thinking had left the government in fear of her knowledge of what the government might have been doing. The alzheimer’s seems to be a “blessing in disguise” since if she didn’t have it then I wouldn’t have heard this story until I would have been shaped into a different
