It has been stated that Finnish schools are ‘the schools of civilisation in an information society’ (Sarajala, 2001b) and therefore, they arguably educate and prepare young adults more sufficiently than the schools of England, who simply provide basic foundations for future development after education.

Today’s reading also tells about a woman whose whole life had been tuned-in to God. She married young. After seven years of her marriage, she lost her husband. She was probably childless, long unmarried. She was a widow until she was eighty-four. Her life might not be a very desirable life in her days. This woman’s life would have been long forgotten in most people’s memories. Her life might not be the life that people would like to remember and celebrate.
In general, it all helped them to become stronger in their beliefs and attract more people to their activity. It is a lesson, which teaches everyone to remember that the God praised every human being with equal opportunities, which a man has no right to limit. As a child Mrs. Sherman had an extraordinarily open mind to learn and shared the gift with others. She has inspired many others to open their mind and explore the wonders of learning. Mrs. Sherman's older brother was one of her strongest influences. Every day when he would come from school she would be elated by his books and studies from that day. Seeing as how excited she was for school she would often play school with her dolls and cats while attempting to teach them everything she could. Once she had started school the ability to learn and teach others was immediately apparent. They had to stand in the front of the room and recite the alphabet and count to one hundred. Mrs. Sherman strongly observed the other students and noticed how some could not master the task from their teacher. She did not like to see her peers suffer, which led her to helping them during recess. She, would help her peers gain confidence and knowledge by helping them learn to count and recite the alphabet. The gift to teach was something that just came naturally to her as a first grader.
Her actions was very courage to the people and she share her faith and believe to the people. It influence my courage and to be brave for my faith. Therefore, teachers teach the whole child since they maintain cultural identity of a student not only do they emphasize on the importance of academic achievement. Consequently, when promoting academic community for students, teachers play a role in responding effectively to the learners needs (Gay, 2000).
The process of developing an education is based on decisive factors that should be met in order for sufficient teaching and learning to be obtained and of value. These criteria are established from federal, state and local authorities of education to ensure that the appropriate academics of education are achieved. In doing so there are roles that colleges and universities must play in preparing future educators to be successful. Once a future educator has become successful in the preparation of becoming an educator their credentials will determine the process of certification based on their states’ requirements. Once the required certification has been obtained the now proletarian educator will begin their career in the atmosphere of learning what teaching truly consists of. Not only through the academic perspective of educating, but the overall view of public education from the demographic and socioeconomic standpoints of students to the total budget of public school funding, which in turn will have an impact on the statistics of students that are being educated yearly. Developing beneficial knowledge, expectations and requirements will encourage success as an educator not only in the classroom but overall.
I have known for a long time that I would love to have a career in public service; thus, I pursued my bachelor’s degree in the department of Public Administration at Selcuk University, Turkey. In Turkey, enrollment to the university is based on one’s performance in central examination. Fortunately, my score in that exam allowed me to study in one of the best universities, Selcuk University. After four years of my undergraduate, I applied and was awarded to Ministry of National Education’s scholarship, which sponsors my master and doctorate degree abroad.

Teachers serve as the guiding force in a student’s life. They are responsible for molding a student’s personality and shaping his/her mental orientation. Teachers deeply impact our lives and direct the course of our future. One cannot deny the influence of teachers in one’s life. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that, till a certain age, out life revolves around our teachers. They are our constant companions, until we grow old enough to come out of their shadow and move ahead on our own.
