September 11th 2001. This tragedy will be one that lives in the hearts of many Americans for years to come. On this tragic day some of the most iconic structures in the American nation were deliberately destroyed by a Taliban group most commonly known as Al- Qaeda. The conductor of this group was the infamous Osama bin Laden, and his reasonings for the vile attack on our nation, was to drive western cultures out of the Muslim world. It has been nearly 14 years since the tragic attacks on New York City and Washington DC, and yet we have now come to the same complacent position that we were once in, on September 11th, 2001, and the many months leading up to the attacks, on our country's soil. That we are, lacking in some areas. For starters, we are lacking one of the most important things any nation needs, a good leader. With the 2016 presidential elections coming up, it is vital that we choose a leader that represents our country in a positive manner, and also makes choices that helps our country grow in safety and security. We need a leader that will take actions against terrorists and not stand by and watch as our country crumbles. If we don’t take action now, we may not have another chance in the future.

We as a country are still at war. Do we even care that these kinds of attacks could happen to our nation again and possibly at greater extent than before. This is closer than we think. In Lance Morrow’s “The Case of Rage and Retribution” in Time Magazine, He says this “War is as we see it, blood and death.” This statement is completely true. There has never been a war American history in which blood was not shed or death has not proceeded to take place.
