I will research how mechatronics and engineering are used in the real world at PTI. What are engineers and what do they do? According to The Merriam Webster Dictionary an engineer is “1: a member of a military unit specializing in engineering work. 2: a designer or builder of engines. 3: one trained in engineering. 4: one that operates an engine.” That isn’t very helpful, so I will use this essay to explain what they do.

They design agricultural machinery, equipment, sensors, processes, and structures, such as those used for crop storage.
