Reflection On Atheism

When people intersect with life itself, the experience a form of culture. Depending on how they deal with it or express their feeling towards it, culture plays a part in it. We live in a fast pace world and we do not always understand what it means to step into someone else’s shoes. Cultures are not exclusive, however it is not something a person just automatically joins. To be fully submerged within a culture, one must possess feelings, interests or have common actions of other people within the culture group. As a christian I’m a part of Christian culture in society as I share common beliefs and practices as others within this culture. The literal term “atheism” in Greek, meanings “without gods.” For myself, being in a Christian high school and university, I have been surrounded by Christian people so exploring this new culture I knew was going to be a challenge and a difference in my life. To begin, I studied on some atheism facts as I wanted to be able to learn things from Braydon’s point-of-view. A misconception of atheists, are that they became atheists due to the fact that they are angry at God. This is a myth as atheists are atheists because they see no evidence of a God. While it may seem, they lack to know the purpose of life, atheists will often say they are always searching for the purpose of life within the earthly world. Atheism is on the rise in America today as in five years, it has seen an increase of almost 1%. With all these facts and numbers, it seems that atheists are just a growing group of close minded people. If you believe that statement is true, you might as well stop reading right here as it was not too long ago I was in your shoes, however my beliefs on that have changed
