The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is a fascinating, adventurous journey about 4 siblings traveling through a magical wardrobe to a land called Narnia. As they explore the land, they learn of its destiny and free it from the evil white witch, with the help of a majestic lion.
According to Time Magazine, “There’s no fire, no passion and not much fun.” I have to disagree with this statement because I thought that movie was fun-filled and intriguing. As the movie was unraveling itself, it kept me on a rollercoaster with entertaining and emotional scenes; it kept me on the edge of my sear. I felt that the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was an awesome work of profound ambition.
To add, the actors and actresses in the movie did an awesome job with portraying their characters through expressing emotion and what they were feeling. They played with emphasis and placed themselves in the place of their character. My favorite character was the lion, Aslan. He was a well put together and solid character; he had an authentic presence that was well needed in the movie. Although the movie overall was epic, some of the movie scenes didn’t match the image that I thought it was going to be which made me sadly disappointed. For example, there was a scene in the movie where a war had took place and it wasn’t as electrifying as I thought it would be. Also, the portraying of the White Witch character through her appearance and manor didn’t meet my expectations.
C.S. Lewis, author and creator of The Chronicles of Narnia did a phenomenal job with the majestically theme of the book and moral of the movie, although he didn’t produce it. “No book is really worth reading at the age of ten ...

... normally does with all of his fiction novels. He does this by using metaphors, symbolism, imagery, and more. Through the Chronicles of Narnia, I think that C.S. Lewis wanted to let his audience know that there is a higher power and that good can overpower evil.
In conclusion, one of C.S. Lewis famous quotes that I love states “I was with book, as a woman is with child.” This quote means that Lewis was with his book when he wrote it; he nurtured it and took care of it and he wanted anybody that laid hands on it to value it as much as he did as a woman does for her baby. C.S. Lewis did an outstanding job with the book and Andrew Adamson added even better charm when he directed the movie. This movie was great and its gets 5 stars from me! I would recommend this movie to anybody, young or old because it tells a story that only the imagination can comprehend.
