Causes and Factors of Homosexuality

There is a group of people who are only attracted to the same genders. They still haven’t been completely accepted and approved by society. The world regards them as abnormal; the Bible defines being homosexual as a sin. The homosexuals have been fighting for their right of being treated equally for many years, and so have some others who support and embrace ones who have different sexuality. Their only aspiration is to prove to the world that homosexuality is not a sin. There’s a great deal of factors resulting in homosexuality. And they all demonstrate that there’s nothing wrong with being a gay; instead, it’s just a different way to live a life.
First of all, homosexual desire is mostly caused by exoteric factors. A lot of studies on homosexuality shows homosexuals overwhelmingly believe their behavior is the result of environmental influences. The reasons of preferring homosexuality includes: early homosexual experience with adults, homosexual friends, poor relationship with parent, unusual development which includes sissy, artistic and tom-boy, heterosexual partners unavailable, social ineptitude, and born that way, in which early homosexual experience with adults has the highest percentage (Cameron 8). Family abnormality is one of the most important factors. A dominant possessive rejecting mother, an absent distant rejecting father, a parent with homosexual proclivities, a sibling with homosexual tendencies, the lack of a religious home environment, divorce, parents who model unconventional sex roles, and condoning homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle can all influence the kid’s sexuality a lot (Cameron 19).
