Burkitt’s lymphoma is a very aggressive form of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The disease is related with Epstein-Barr virus and was one of the first tumours shown to have a chromosomal translocation. The Burkitt’s lymphoma disease is the most common childhood cancer where malaria is predominantly an epidemic. About10% of all malignant diseases in children under 15 years of age. Disease is very common in those whose immune system is not functionally efficient. With the help of intensive chemotherapy, children are in better health. On the other hand, children in third world countries are not as aggressive in treatment of Burkitt’s lymphoma. The right prognosis helps doctors evaluate the initial steps of Burkitt’s lymphoma.

Introduction and History
A cancer that develops when white blood cells called lymphocyte grow abnormally is called Lymphoma. Lymphocytes are found in lymph nodes and targets infections that are collected in the lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system which developed the immune system. Lymphatic tissues are also located in the lungs and guts. In these area lymphocytes may needed to fight infections or swallow with food. Lymph nodes occur in many areas of your bodies: some of them felt if they enlarged, other may only see on scans.
Burkitt’s lymphoma is a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma where cancer starts in immune cells named B-cells. Is the fastest growing human tumor, Burkitt lymphoma is connected with impaired immunity and is quickly final if left untreated; However, can achieve long-term survival in more than half the people with Burkitt lymphoma.
