Introduction
Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is the premier regional groups in Southeast Asia. It made widely credited for major contributions to Southeast Asia for the better, nice, stable and prosperous than might otherwise be the incident. ASEAN has also played an important role as promoters of regional cooperation that has wider to provide a forum for the countries of Southeast Asia, the major powers and other countries who are interested to discuss and coordinate approaches to regional issues.

ASEAN Declaration states that the aims and objectives of the Association is to accelerate economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the region through joint ventures in the spirit of equality and partnership to strengthen the foundation for a prosperous and peaceful community of Southeast Asian nations.

It also promotes regional peace and stability by adhering to justice and respect for the rule of law in the relationship among countries in the region and adherence to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations. In 1995, the ASEAN Heads of State and Government reaffirmed that "Cooperative peace and shared prosperity shall be the fundamental goals of ASEAN."

In 1967, ASEAN has achieved the highest international profile in a field. While cooperation among members is very important to be diversified so never forget a simple task. In striving to challenge both try to strengthen cooperation and maintain the unity of doing things.

ASEAN is an important partner for any countries in Asia. It has a multi-faceted relationship with ASEAN since 1974. In 1970, the Malaysia-ASEAN cooperation has involved both efforts to improve regional security, for example through the Cambodian peace process in 1991-19...

It also remains to be seen whether ASEAN can strengthen institutions to provide for the safety and certainty in the execution of the agreement and provide an effective mechanism for dispute resolution. ASEAN Charter adopted in 2008 to support the importance of the dispute settlement mechanism and the Association is currently looking to develop a more effective mechanism for this purpose.

ASEAN continued a major effort to ensure the goals of the AEC, Economics shows membership will take the necessary steps to implement the ASEAN Free Trade Area. Some members, however, continue to face difficulties in meeting the needs of the target, including structural reforms in laws and regulations.
