Asante, Asante biggest struggle to me in his life was not having his family there like he needed them. A good family structure is always positive because those are the people that are always going to be there for you. Around the time when it was most necessary for his family to be there, they were not which lead him to making bad decisions and getting caught up in the streets. The communication lacked badly in his family because his father ended up just drifting off and his mother completely shut down and he was not sure why so that led him to reading his mother 's diary to see if he could see what his mother was not only feeling but thinking as well.
