Should students be allowed to use cell phones in school?

Recently, students use cell phones in school. Using cell phones in school is big issue among students and teachers. Many students use cell phones except during school and even during school hours. Some schools made appropriate policies about using cell phones in school. For example, students should turn off their cell phones and put in their lockers. Also, students should be allowed to use cell phones before and after school and in case of emergency. Students should not be allowed to use cell phones in school because cell phones distract students, inappropriate usage, and have a negative influences on students. Cell phones distract students from learning. Some students use cell phones during class. Among them students surf the internet, texting to someone, playing video games, inappropriately using the photography feature, and even coordinate drug deals on school ground. Cell phones distract students from learning in class. Students who use cell phones in class, would not pay attention what teacher have told them because students will be too distracted on their cell phones. Also, using cell phones in class is just wasting the time for students. Cell phones distract other students as well and everyone in class because they cannot concentrate if someone using cell phones in the same class. If students did not turned off cell phones and if it rings, it will be distract everyone in class. Using cell phones in class can affect everyone in class. Probably they are might fail class and they cannot pass the class. Besides call phone users, other students are unable to focus because of cell phone distractions. Even if set to silent mode, cell phones can still cause distraction, since text message has become high technology method.
