I know that I would be a phenomenal addition to Bethel Park’s National Honor Society. My contributions would benefit the integrity and life of this society. I would join this organization not only to better it, but to better myself. I believe that I could take valuable life lessons that I could use for the future from being involved in this society. One of my intentions is to better my community and help those around me, such as my fellow peers. Some of my skills and qualities include; communication skills, being understanding, and having confidence and courage. As for softball, being a team captain has also taught me many valuable things. There is something about helping other people, or the community in general, that I love. I did well above the amount of community service needed to apply for the National Honor Society, and I did it all because I like to do it. I have been doing community service since I was about eight or nine years old, and even then I was doing it because I wanted to do it. I started doing community service through the girl scouts, and after that I started doing it on my own. I have volunteered to do stuff such as helping at; cub scout day camps, park cleanups, river cleanups, community days and much more.
