When I was younger I absolutely hated going to the dentist. There was even one time I threw up on my dentist. We had a strained patient/dentist relationship after that. I for some crazy reason decided that I wanted to go into dentistry even after this horrible experience. By the time I was in my junior year of high school, I had found out that my school offered classes that focused on career paths. They had many options but one that caught my eye was dental assisting. This was perfect for me; I would get the chance to experience what I want to do after high school. It was the best experience I’ve ever had. She made learning dental so much fun and I truly enjoyed it. Dental assisting is what made me so interested in dentistry, I decided to become a pediatric dentist because I love kids, I feel like I could make a good impact on them and I love seeing their big toothless smile.
