Introduction Leadership have many debates and controversies in the social sciences (Bass, 1990; Bennis, 2007). There have 221 different definitions and conceptions of leadership discovered by Rost (1993). However, Bass (2008) points out that definition of leadership was depends on the specific aspect of leadership of interest to the individual and pointless and the correct definition of leadership.
According to Posner and Kouzes (2007), leadership is a major way in which help people change the minds of others and help organizations to accomplish identified goals. It is everyone all understand and know the meaning of the leadership.
In this assessment, the purpose is to provide critical analysis and understanding about contemporary theories and also personal reflection in applying the related theories.
