I am an accountant major who is willing to graduate from Crowder College in the coming semester. Moreover, I have done two years degree of supply chain management where it mainly deals with movement of goods from the supplier to the purchaser. Besides that, currently I am an accountant clerk where I perform multiple tasks like recording and posting business transactions in the general ledger accounts. In addition to that I process bills so that all payments are made at the required date to avoid any inconveniences. Learning this classes makes one to master how to handle financial statements like adjusting the balance sheets at the end of the accounting period. Moreover, it facilitates one to understand how to prepare and record assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expenses in their respective accounts. In addition to that, it teaches one to exercise ethical behaviors when handling accounting books, so that the information he/she provide are reliable and accurate to the best level he can. On the other hand, currently I am handling the position of an accountant clerk for a period of one year where I am dealing with daily business transactions occurring in the organization. Some of the task include, issuing checks in order to offset the debt owner by the company to the respective suppliers. More to that, I also provide front desk customer service by responding the questions raised by the customers through phone or face to face. With the help of the knowledge I have acquired from the accounting classes and my current job, I believe I am capable to handle this post.
