Seattle, WA has a high rate of suicide and depression. Also Korea, which is my home country, is ranked on 2nd place on suicidal rate in the world. According to Korean Governmental Statistical Office, the leading cause of death of teenage group to 30th is a suicide which tells it is a big problem. Unemployment, depression, and social isolation are common reasons of committing suicide. Also in some of the East Asian countries, the hard pressure from studying and getting good grade for the college is one of the biggest reason of the suicide in teenage group, and that’s the reason why a lot of students in Korea committing or thinking about a suicide after the high school senior’s final test. Most of people kill themselves because of environmental factors so most of them think that they are victim who are damaged by social problems but I believe that committing suicide should be a criminal offense.
Most of states in America illegalized assisted suicide except for California, Vermont, Oregon, and Washington but every state legalized committing suicide. Also the most of country in the world, especially western …show more content…

In my opinion, committing suicide can be treated as murder because it kills a life. Not only the killing other people is murder but also the killing oneself. But no one think that killing oneself is a murder and it’s crime. Also the most of media spotlight the testament and the following issues, not a seriousness of the murdering that is crime. We need to aware about the fact that someone committed suicide is the person who killed a life. We should stop giving a sympathy and mourning to the dead man who is a murderer. We should care about not only who died but also who killed that man. We should stop making the atmosphere that overlook about seriousness of suicide that makes people aid and abet
