During the clip, the couple was arguing about their relationship and how they felt about it. There were some possible costs and rewards associated with their relationship. A cost for Gary is that he works a lot because he is trying to fully support the family. He wants her not have to work one day. Gary feels like Brooke is constantly nagging him about everything and that she wants to change him. On the other hand, Brooke does not feel like she is important to him and that he is not thoughtful enough. For instance, she mentioned him not giving her flowers or picking up after himself. A big conflict in my family deals with money. I remember growing up my parents constantly argued over money. It is one of the factors that contributed to their divorced. My dad wanted my mom to be a stay at home, but then he would throw it back in her fact that she does not work. For instance, if they did not see eye to eye on something then he would say “it’s MY money.” My mom did not like that so she went out and got her a job. My brothers and I also had sibling conflicts while we were growing up. My youngest brother and I kept arguing with my oldest brother because he felt like he could boss us around. In our eyes, he was trying to act like he was our dad. Looking back on the situation, my brother probably thought that he had to be like a father figure since my parents got a divorced. After awhile, the arguing started to die down because we started to communicate better and got along way

Bo Brewster is a triathlete that encounters many family conflicts with his dad Lucas. He has always treated Bo differently than the other siblings growing up. Instead of compromising and participating in activities that they both want to do, she feels that they always do whatever he wants. She tells him “I did that for you, how do you show up for me?” However, Gary had no idea that she felt this way because she never stands up to him and tells him. Family can have numerous joyful encounters but they can also possess many differences that allows people to stand out from one another Two family members that clash often is my uncles, Bobby Joe and Tommy. Both are brothers of my father but they do not resemble or act in the same manner. Bobby, being the more active and strict relative, has different morals and expectations than that of Tommy. Tommy, being the indoorsman and having a short temper, sees things being his way or no way. Although there are specific similarities between my uncles, the differences between them make them seem as if they were complete strangers from one another.
In the play Antigone by Sophocles, we meet many characters, but more importantly Antigone and Creon. Antigone is the niece of Creon and sister of Polyneices. Creon is the father of Haemon and king of Thebes. By the end of the play we see that Antigone is right and Creon is wrong. It is true that both Antigone and Creon are at fault, but Creon should be held more responsible for the tragedy.

This was especially relevant during dinner when I would sit at the table - told minutes before that dinner will be ready soon, but then would wait hours for any food to finally arrive, my parents busy doing work, would forget to cook and instead order dinner from a nearby restaurant.
Later in the movie she even stated that her husband makes her feel weak and makes her skin crawl. He moves out as a result, one day he stops by and sees Gary getting dropped off by a taxi in the middle of the night at his house. Nonetheless, Brooke realized that she only crates a big hole in their relationship and push Gary away. Then, the last effort that Brooke makes to fix their affiliation was inviting Gary to a concert; one that Gary never assisted. After this, she is completely heart broken, and Gary found her crying in the apartment, here is when he realizes what had happened and he finally admits that he also have made a lot of mistakes. Gary tries to make up things with her, but it is too late because their relationship was unfixable; at that time, the only option they have was to keep going with their lives. There have been on many occasions that I am confronted with interpersonal conflicts, some more serious than others. One of the most serious conflicts I have encountered involved my parents, yet it was also one that had the biggest positive impacts in my life. The conflict took its roots when I started high school. Due to our economic situation, my parents worked strenuous jobs with inflexible, long hours. As a result, they depended on my older sister and I to watch over our three younger siblings. Unlike my sister, I was involved in afterschool athletics, which then divided my time between home and school even further. This created an imbalance; my older sister took most of the responsibility of taking over my siblings. Due to this, my parents were not supportive of my involvement of extracurricular. This escalated when my parents left their jobs to open up a small family restaurant; as the business starting to pick up, not only did they need my sister and I to help at home, but also help at the restaurant. Since athletics were time consuming, I could not divide my time to cater my parents'

Traditionally, my family celebrates holidays with board games and dominos. As soon as we finish eating, we pull out the games and play for hours on end. It has been this way since before I was born. Naturally, we have our favorites: at least one round of “chicken foot” is a requirement at any family function; “clue” has and always will be a family favorite; “family cranium” has grown slowly grown on us over the years. However, just as any tradition, we have to spice it up every year to prevent the transition into boring routine. Families provide people with an atmosphere in which to live, grow, and develop. A family culture is established by the parents and instilled in the children during their upbringing. A healthy family is a family which follows a set of strong morals, stays loyal to one another, cooperates, and works together to avoid conflict. An environment where there is openness amongst family members is ideal because minds that are open are more susceptible to avoiding conflict than minds that are closed. If conflict gets the best of a family, it has the potential to increase hostility and create remoteness between family members, however, if a family resolves conflict, it can strengthen and enforce the family relationships.
