When she was 15, she fell in love with a boy, who spilled d a drink on her at a party. “I’m so sorry about that … my name’s Zand by the way,” he said. “Oh wow, it’s ok … and I’m Lola” she replied. “So nice to meet you, see you around” he said and we stared at each other for a while and then continued on. Lola had been a sophomore in high school, and she had already been through so much emotional trauma in the first two years then she thought she would ever have to deal with. She was less like Jay Z when he says “I’ve got 99 problems, but a bitch ain’t one” and more like Kid Cudi when he says “I’ve got 99 problems, and they all bitches.” Until she met Zand, she was going through something with another boy that she never thought she could get over. This boy’s name was Taylor, and he was a true artist when it came to manipulating girls. Tormented by parental issues, he was numb to feelings. So, although he made me feel like he cared about her, she knew he couldn’t because he didn’t know how to. Although she still loved him, when she met Zand, there was an immediate connection between them. His best friend tried to hook them up that nigh at the party. She didn’t know much about him and she got nervous, so she didn't go for it. Immediately she regretted her decision, because she thought she’d never see him again. Lola went to preparatory school, the school Zand used to go to before he switched to a different private school. Even though she thought that she would never see him again, she told her best friend Jen about him. Jen was medium height, brown hair and eyes, not too special at first glance, seemed self-conscious, and very about keeping her shape that was a perfect, petit hourglass figure. Looks wise, besides weighing about twen... ... middle of paper ... ...towards her other roommates for knowing how she felt about him, but not trying to stop what would occur. She went to the balcony and felt the drizzle, earth’s tears on her skin. It was as if Mother Nature was projecting unto the earth all she had been feeling. They got home from break a few days after. It was April, and time to get back to school. Lola was sick and she felt like garbage, but she went anyways. She got to the lunchroom and sat with her group of friends. “Did you know she hooked up with him??? Yeah, several times I heard. Someone told me they did the deed but I’m not sure. That’s, like, so rude. I thought she knew you’ve like loved him since the end of the tenth grade. What kind of friend does that?” Gabby said. She continued to speak about the subject while Lola asked herself the same questions as Gabby had asked her. But she already knew the answer.
