Alex is a very valued member of the team and has exceeded my expectations of a student. In
particular, Alex has demonstrated a clear understanding of the core components of practice such
as values and ethics, communication and interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
Alex has shown a real commitment to weekly supervision by being both punctual and preparing
an agenda. Alex has used this time wisely, to discuss any challenges and achievements of her
week, and to also discuss her caseload. Supervision has also been a safe and comfortable
place for Alex to unpack her own values and ethics whenever she has been faced with an ethical
dilemma at the centre. Alex and I have been able to reflect on policies and procedures of the
centre such

Alex has informed
me that the use of her journal has been a strong tool for her throughout the second half of her
placement, allowing both critical reflection and self care.
Throughout the second half of Alex’s placement, she has shown a great growth in her verbal and
non-verbal communication skills. The ASC has a diverse range of clients with different cultural
backgrounds, family dynamics, physical and/or mental health issues and different levels of
needs. Alex has shown that she can adapt her communication style to each case she is working
on, by the different communication styles, ranging from face to face, telephone, email, and
referral forms. Where necessary, Alex has also been able to manage using our telephone
interpreting service with great ease. Alex has also displayed great teamwork skills, which show
through her encounters with other caseworkers, internal staff at the ASC in other programs
(health, legal, employment), and external professionals, when Alex is advocating on behalf of
clients. An example of how Alex has demonstrated her communication and teamwork skills

That sends her off on a wild goose chase to find out who killed her, and many other smaller conflicts result around this. Another conflict is when Alexi is sent back to Moscow by her father because that was one of Grace’s friend who helped her discover and find the clues leading up to Grace finding out the person who killed her mother.

This is also often the next step after a severe loss in a family, evolving from the ‘recovery period.’ In the middle of the book, Alex becomes aware of his larger and larger isolation from the rest of his family. From this, he seems to try to change his actions; becoming less agitated and irate, but changing to just becoming focused on solving Caroline’s murder. “It didn’t take long for Tony Nicholson to start talking a blue streak about the club and the blackmail scheme after that. I’d seen it so many times before, the way suspects will start competing with each other once they sense the ground is shifting. To hear him tell it, Mara Kelly had set up the entire back end: Asian underground banking, public key cryptography -- everything they needed to stay out of reach for as long as they had.” (page 210) Alex begins to completely forget about ‘taking out his rage’ or ‘getting revenge’ to just solving his niece’s case and giving the rest of his family some closure. To achieve this, however, Alex slowly begins to seek more and more help from the rest of his family. “You’re going to be just fine, she had said to me. Maybe not quite the same, but still, just fine. You’re a police officer. She was right, of
“As an athlete he’s dropped his 200-meter and hurdle times. He’s become a leader on the track and he’s matured in the classroom. He’s really become an all-around student athlete, and the face you’d want for your organization.”
If all of these events did not happen, Alex would still be a static character. Through all of his courage, he found what he was looking for. He dug deep and went to the extremes that were not normal of himself. All of his work lead to his dynamic
My sixteen week class in English 111. I was really nervous about this class. Because English has never been my strong point. This class has hard, but fun all at the same time. Communication is a vital skill in all facets of life and all occupations. Before a person begins work, they first interview with the employer, where their communication skills are made apparent. These skills are vital to daily success in the workplace, whether they are used in direct communication or indirectly through the written word. It is crucial that the true meaning of what one person is trying to communicate to another is made perfectly clear the first time to ensure efficiency and success throughout all paths of life. There are also several situations for communication a person may experience. Communication situations can happen at any point in a person’s life, and it is imperative that a person is prepared for these situations when
It is my hope that TC will continue to improve in his work, if he can maintain enough interest in school. Hopefully someone can provide the extra encouragement he needs to move through the difficult years of school. If he doesn’t have an attitude change about school, he will probably be one of those that dropout.
If I were Alex, I would use the amiable coaching style to help James stay productive and perform to the best of his abilities. One main concept of this coaching style is to connect with the employee on a personal level and develop the employee. James seems to be very smart, but he needs someone to show interest in himself and truly want him to succeed. When James was most successful, his manager was personable and was invested in helping his employees succeed. Along with being personable, Alex should develop employees and invest in his/ her future. Developing an employee should include training or continuing education opportunities that helps the employee develop into a well-rounded employee that feels comfortable with his/ her manager and organization (Aguinis, 2013). By a manager investing in the employees and of...

Alex exerts his freedom of choice in all aspects of his life. From the time he wakes up in the morning, until he goes to bed at night. Every decision he makes belongs to him. The only person who controls Alex is Alex. He does what he wants, when he wants to. He doesn’t care who he hurts along the way as long as what he is doing makes him happy.
