The film I have chosen to review is a very popular film by the name of Nightmare Before Christmas. It was created by the famed Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. I believe the target audience was probably children, but in recent years the more rebellious teens, such as myself, have taken the movies’ popularity to a new level. The genre would be Stop Motion Animation, which simply means that the characters were made of clay or figures and slowly pain steakingly moved to create a 76 minute film. Since it was created for children naturally it has many musical numbers. I suppose the message may be that no matter how successful you might be you might still get bored with your life, once that happens who is to stop you from trying anything else?
