My Football Experience

Out of all the recent moments that have occurred in my life there is one that sticks out the most to me. This moment would be when my football coach took me to the Penn State versus Ohio State football game last year. The feeling of being able to see a big college football game was incredible. One day after high school football practice my coach had come up to me and asked if I wanted to go to a football game with him. Of course, I said yes, but it did not cross my mind of what game I was going to watch. After I had said yes, he said that he got discount tickets the Penn State versus Ohio State football and wanted me to go with him. When he told me that it was for an Ohio State game, I was so happy that I could not get a smile off of my face. Not only had he offered me to go, but he said that my mom could with me as well. Later that night, my coach called my mom and told her about the news. She was very excited as well because she had been trying to plan a game for her and I to go, but finding time was difficult. The news that day not only shocked me, but my mom as well. Early Saturday morning, we drive half way to meet my coach out in Ashland. As the fourth quarter ended, the game was tied and they had to go into overtime. In college, the overtime is very different because the team who wins the coin toss gets the ball at the twenty-yard line and has to score a touchdown or a field goal. Both teams had scored one touchdown in the first overtime, so they had to go into a second overtime. Penn State was stopped by the Ohio State defense, so Penn State had to kick a field goal. When Ohio State got the ball, they ended up running a Quarterback run and they won the game. The whole stadium was upset to see that Penn State had lost, but the game was the best game I had ever
