Abraham Lincoln once said, “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” It’s dejected that men on earth don’t live very long, prosperous lives. In the past, men didn’t live as long as men do now, but because people know about death, they can make the most of it. For some, the main purpose for the existence of human beings is to live as much happiness they can achieve before the last grains of sand fall. In today’s world, there are people who live life to the fullest, and for some, to the extreme. Earth is a beautiful place to live in, but because it’s so big, there’s not a lot of time to see what is out there. There’s just too many things that I need to do, and earn, before I can go to one specific location, but being able to do it on a monthly, or daily basis would be one of the most amazing things to do. I’m not saying that I would go and stay in Antarctica for a month, but it would be nice to see penguin’s in their natural habitat. Also, not only will there be many great sites to see, but also to travel across the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean and see nothing but ocean blue for a couple of hours. The first place that I would want to go visit first is the Grand Canyon and see how big it actually is, but then I would want to shift to the city life and go visit the Statue of Liberty in New York City. For my first international travel destination, I would want to go visit the great Vatican in Rome. Then, I would like to travel to Rio De Genaro and experience the joys of Carnival. Not a lot of people know that I enjoy listening to classical music and that I want to be a band teacher in the future. Music for me has been one of the most important attributes in my life, and it has helped shaped me the way I am today. As a child in elementary school, I began to notice that I’ve had a natural skill when it came to music. In the fifth grade, there were different levels of music that we had to accomplish on the recorder before we had to move on to the next one. It was basically like karate where you start off as a white belt, and over time it would be a black belt. It turns out that I was a fast learner when it came to learning a new instrument because I was the first one in the class to receive a black belt on the recorder. Then during middle school, it was obvious that I was one of the better players in the band, and but that’s not the main reason music is a giant part of my life. For the majority of my sixth grade year, I didn’t hang out with a lot of people, so I would go into the band room and just practice until band class started. Eventually when I made it to high school, band became something completely different than middle school band. Before school actually started, there was a week of band camp that all of the students had to attend, and that where I began to make many more friends.
