Though education is said to be so instrumental in human development but also in the revamping of world economies, it is very unfortunate that education systems worldwide, are being held to ransom all because of poverty at both government and household levels. Poverty means the shortage of common things such as food clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, all of which determine our quality of life.it also include lack of access to opportunities like education and employment which aid the escape of poverty. children those are poor are more likely to skip their school either to help their parents to earn more money on their own or children are forced to drop out of school either by parents to work and they engage in child labour that contribute to school dropouts this, therefore, affects school attendance. Children from low income families are at risk because though school is their better hope for future, they dropout because their parents are failing to provide them basic needs. Apart from child labour, psychological and other health problems due to poverty and malnutrition is also another because that affects school readiness. On the other hand, in my view poverty encourages one to get educated and of course work hard in class without effecting school readiness this is because the problems faced due to poverty are very serious and therefore students who are from poverty stricken families strive to end the problems and one of the best solution is through education. However, by working part time they will manage to fulfill their basic needs and provide financial support to their families but based on these argument, I believe that it effects the school readiness and the children are not allowed to engage in working force until the law permits to do so otherwise child labour is a
