Today was the fourth day we connected with the MATS students in India. We used the IceChat rooms today to communicate with the students instead of talking to them with Skype like we normally do. This was seemed to be the best option, since it is hard to understand each other due to poor connection and audio in our previous Skype sessions.
I was linked in to the chat room with two of my classmates, Cameron and Gina, and we were talking to one of the MATS students Khasboo. The two topics we decided to talk about was Sports and Bollywood. We asked what Khasboo’s favorite sport was and we told her was ours was. She told us her favorite sport was Badminton, and she discussed how Cricket was popular in India and described how to play it. I don’t remember how she explained Cricket, but I found a basic explanation online that explains the basic concept of Cricket. “Cricket is similar to that of baseball.
