Students Enemy
Going to college makes your future less complicated, yet there are a bunch of reasons why students drop out. The number one reason is because school is not interesting and can be hell to some students. There is many ways to keep a student from succeeding. To help America become a better place, they need the next generation to overcome any obstacle and it depends on those students that are in school at this very moment. In order to capture a student’s interest and help them succeed it would be best to have them feel at ease by understanding what keeps them from accomplishing their goals in life.
According to a new study, five times as many high school students are dealing with anxiety and other mental health issues as youth of the same age who were studied in the Great Depression Era. There are two types of stress, good and bad. However, too much stress adds difficult challenges to one’s life. It can come from a variety of sources like meeting the expectations from their parents, teachers, or coaches. Also, from doing well in school to their social life. School takes up a lot of time, so do sports, and one’s social life. Students today try to balance all these things. A study has been done, 5 universities went through responses of 77,576 high school or college students that took the MMPI from 1938 to 2007. According to the results, hypomania went from 5% to 31% and depression went from 1% to 6%. By now the percentages have increased over the years. Coaches expect students to give it all they have and to stay committed. Teachers expect students to learn and to pass their class. Society expects you to have a unique personality and style. Soon enough, students feel like they’re not good enough and get extremely stressed...

...ir goals in life. Stress is something that can get out of control. Bullying is what makes stress worse. Doing simple things and changing others can help students feel at ease. When all the weight of the stress you were carrying and all the problems go away, school would actually become interesting.
