One of the greatest challenges is sustainability in the technological developments (Garrison, 2013). Although it is essential for advancements in transport technology, it is important to understand that careless advancement would affect the environment which in turn influence different life support systems. Pollution of the environment causes environmental issues such as global warming, air, water and land pollution which have a harmful effect on the quality of life. Sustainability also affects the political and economic status of different countries (Garrison, 2013). Advancements in technology must be controlled to ensure that they are not using too much financial capacity of the various countries which could affect other crucial services such as education and health care systems.
