Steroids have always affected athletes physically and mentally for the past few decades. Steroids users who are caught supplementing steroids should be banned from the event or sport forever, due to injecting a substance that makes athletes have inhuman strengths.

Steroids users I believe should be banned forever after infusing themselves with the drug. My first reason to why steroid users should be banned is because of the health risks, the second reason is that the athletes are seeking an unfair advantage, my final reason is that some of these athletes are role models and show a bad influence on younger inspired athletes. Performance enhancers, like steroids and other forms of doping, have a negative effect on long-term health. For the users of these enhancers are hurting themselves in the long run without on the average improving their short-term rewards from athletic competition, as long as competitors also use harmful enhancers. This is the main rationale for trying to ban steroids and other forms of doping from athletic competitions. A stat that I found is “Anabolic steroid abuse may lead to serious, even permanent, health problems such as kidney problems or failure. liver damage. enlarged heart, high blood pressure, and changes in blood cholesterol, all of which increase the risk of stroke and heart attack, even in young people”.
