Let’s start with the most important rule: murder is wrong. However, if worse comes to worst, getting away with it can be a challenging task. Whether it’s the employee who got promoted instead of you, the sports car driver who cut you off, or the jerk who let his dog do his business in your lawn but never cleaned it up, everyone undergoes moments of insatiable rage as you admit, “Man, I am gonna kill that guy.” Well now you can, and you can get away with it too. The precautions you take post-murder outweigh any preparations you could have done before. The way you handle these actions will decide whether or not the police busts you. Leaving evidence is an unavoidable ticket to being caught. Under any circumstances should any personal DNA be left on the crime scene, which includes hair, spit, sweat, fingerprints, and any other bodily waste or fluid. If there was a struggle where the victim may have scratched you, clean out their finger nails for any of your own skin cells. If you are feeling audacious, you can throw the police a curve ball by leaving random DNA samples. Now that there is no evidence, no known motive, and a confused detective, it is time for the new murder to get out of town and lay low. Take the trip to Brazil you have always wanted to, or enjoy a nice cold one on the shores of southern California. Since there is no need to worry about getting caught, put the act in the back of your mind and enjoy your fresh life. Congratulations, you have just successfully completed your first murder.
