Some people think that pennies hold no value and should be abolished because it is worthless. According to a November 2006 article, written by Safire states, “The time has come to abolish the outdated, almost worthless, bothersome and wasteful penny” (Saf, par 1). On the other hand though, there are many people who think the penny is very important.
