When I think of entertainment, I think of any kind of performance or program that connects with people mentally and emotionally. It's an important part of culture, shaping it through both art and business, with the most important aspect being the experience. Entertainment is a way of telling stories and connecting people to ideas and other people. I think the goal of entertainment is to make people grow in either an intellectual or emotional capacity.

I didn't take an interest in musicals until high school, when I joined theatre. There, I had an amazing experience acting in both musicals and straight plays, and gained much more of an appreciation for them. I love the ability those kinds of entertainment have to instill a sense of imagination in especially younger kids, and how they push humans to look to the future.

I think many people tend to enjoy types of entertainment that are very relatable to them or align with their lives, or ideas that are on the opposite end of the spectrum and are whimsical or far-fetched, but still possibly align with a fantasy life a person wishes he or she had.

I only ever want to see theatre in-person in an auditorium. I have seen it only a handful of times on the screen, and I always enjoy the live experiences better. I feel that theatre is a very interactive experience, and unlike movies, the audience has an influence on the performers while the entertainment is occurring.
For most of the other entertainment forms, I usually enjoy them in a movie theatre (if it is a film), or in the privacy of my own home. I'm often emotional when I watch film/television, and I'd rather have the ability to be emotional where I'm not surrounded by a large group of
