Why I Hate Slow Drivers

Ever since I started driving there is no other thing I hate more than when you are stuck behind a person who simply will not step on the gas. The people that drive slow are the people that make you get angry, lose your patience, make you lose time, and the ones that make you want to speed. Most people have been in a situation where they are late for work or school and they get stuck behind a slow driver and I guarantee that most of those people will agree that they either lost their patience or got angry.
There are many inevitable situations that would get most drivers angry like traffic during rush hour, but there is one thing that is avoidable that will get normal drivers angry which is a slow driver. During these moments we lose our manners and start using profanity and many signals that are not proper in public places because we are so angry that they simply forget to be civilized. It’s not only the fact that some people drive slow that gets me mad, it’s the fact that they drive slow and they give you no space to get into the next lane in order for you to not be stuck behind them. Every time you are driving there is always someone else that does something that makes you lose your patience, whether they cut you off or drive so slow a turtle could pass it. I understand that it is safer to drive slow but you should drive at the speed limit, not twenty mph less like some people tend to do, that’s why speed limits were created. Whoever can drive behind a slow driver without losing at least a small amount of patience is a person who is very patient and i congratulate them on that because slow drivers are one of my pet

Aggressive driving can easily escalate into an incident of road rage. Motorists in all 50 states have killed or injured other motorists for seemingly trivial reasons. Motorists should keep their cool in traffic, be patient and courteous to other drivers, and correct unsafe driving habits that are likely to endanger, antagonize or provoke other motorists. More than half of those surveyed by NHTSA admitted to driving aggressively on occasion.
